So there more trends to show from 2016 Spring'Summer. The reign of no-makeup makeup is officially over: It's the season for bright red lips, electric blue eyes, glitter and false lashes. Click through for the eight trends to know.

CANDY APPLE

Red lipstick is classic, of course, but never have makeup artists been so united on the shaded front as they were this season. The colour to know: Snow White Apple red as authentic as it gets. Th finish satin, like at Dolce & Gabbana: patent lacquer, at Nina Rici: stay in place all night matte or DKNY - is fair game, so long as the lipstick is applying with utter precision.

Any time a non-neutral pops up in a major way, the inevitable first question is: How do I wear it? The answer, when it comes to blue eye makeup, is any way you wany. Go smoky with sparkly navy, draw a thick line of Yves Klein blue across your lids and for days when you want a little to the bit of chaos and a lot of attention, the hit of cyan Val Garland gave the eyes at Monique Lhuillier, will do the trick.

It's always summer here, said Tom Pecheux backstage at Balmain, as he blended brown cream with bronzer and highlighter for naturally tan sheen - the kind you'd find on a supermodel who's spent the season partying all over the world. But the idea of an endless summer didn't stop there: Rag&Bone did bronze for the city girls: Kors for the desert wanderer: Tommy Hilfiger for the California beach bunny.

Mascara, on the whole, has been non-existent backstage for the last couple of season. Ask makeup artist, why and most will tell you that's only becoming too expected, too annoying. It's good news if you are looking to save time off for your morning routine, but if you love lash moment (and we do), there were some big ones at shows that bucked the trend. For those a few steps ahead of the blue eye movement. Mary Katrantzou and Tod's offered up cyan lashes against bare skin and nude lips as a fresh option, while Marni and Louis Vuitton took the futuristic falsies route.

Complementing all the unexpected fall and winter elements - black, leather, coats, fur on spring runways this season were dark, moody lips with a stained ombre finish like at Anna Sui.

Pinks and peaches are usually reserving for lips, but spring is seeing them on the lids, where they are just as soft and lovely, but with an added element of surprise. Pink is the most flattering on all the girls, pure and sensual. Altuzarra and Erdem showed soft orange shadows for an earthy. Southwest vibe and Lanvin, Pat McGrath's only essential was a red pencil, which she scribbled across the lids, then wiped away so only a hint of pinkish stain was left behind like a very, very naked.

Put your standard black eyeliner to work this season and model abstract arches after Fendi, play up the inner corners a la Mugler or make it your goal to master water and tight lining.

The spring shows provided an easy, go your way guide to sparkling. At Kate Spade and Dries Van Noten, shimmer discreetly as in you might miss it from a few feet away, flashed from the upper lashes at Delpozo, silver was sprinkled lightly across the lids like fairy dust. At Giambattista Valli, only a handful of successful models got their eyes decorated in bold bolts of glitter.
