Actively Contoured & Thicker Brows
If you prefer to leave those awesome brows of yours in their natural state, this is most certainly the year to do so. Alberta Ferretti’s girls come on out onto the runway with sexy natural arches that were neither filled in nor cleaned out. The brows look almost unkempt at Jill Stuart, the lids all over covered in a purplish pink shadow and all.
The Celine brows were also on the natural side, for the most part, thicker and more appealing to those of us that have gotten used to seeing things without artificial effects. Of course, the floating liners and red lipstick were intriguing to add to the list. Thicker feral brows were trending quite strongly at Christopher Kane, proving that the bolder brows are not going anywhere anytime soon, no matter how strange it might appear to look on a tiny face like that of the models.
Whereas many of the beauty effects seem almost soft and too natural, there are those who made up their models with a chic and elegant design in mind, complete with sharply defined brows with a strict accent to them and contouring that would make Kim Kardashian cry. Balmain is one such brand to take on this trend, also followed by Dsquared2 and their wet-look locks.
Ashley Williams has the ‘90s thin brows pinned down, the controversial skinny coming back in with a solid strength, along with the perfection to the contouring. The style this conjured up was that of a sexy female misfit, probably the wife of a millionaire living in the Hamptons

Today's session (work on 3 to 4 different people - only working on the eyebrows)
Step 1: clean skin - Take a before photo of both eyebrows
Step 2: eyebrow look 1: Discuss with the model to understand how they usually like their eyebrows. Ask questions. Take a picture of the finished eyebrow look and ask your model if they are happy/make any corrections and be sure you have created their desired eyebrow look.
Step 3: eyebrow look 2: Demonstrate your recommendation for their eyebrows based on their eyebrow shape/face shape/hair and eye colour and the three angle rule. Take a photo and note your reasons for any changes and get their feedback.
Step 4: Adapt or create a new and final eyebrow look based on an S/S 16 trend. Take a photo and reference the fashion house and the make-up designer. Look closely at the brows from Summer/Spring 2016 make-up looks. What do you notice?
Pointers to remember:
Follow the natural direction of the eyebrow hairs Measure the shape you want to achieve, either with a brow pencil, matte shadow or concealer as a stencil/soft outline on the 3 points (start, middle and the end) of the eyebrow. The natural tone of colour on the brow from light/medium to dark If there is no brow or little hair, start with outlining the physical shape first, then you can adjust the way at the top and fill in the brow softly. Products for grooming and shaping/filling in brows. Tweezers/eyebrow comb/small scissors if trimming is required. Eyebrows primer (if you wish), pencil, powder or matte eyeshadow, eyebrows brush, for cleaning and lifting the hair and diffuse any harsh outline lines. Mascara Gel is useful to comb through the hairs and hold the locks in place (if you have any stubborn eyebrow hairs, use hairspray on a small mascara ward to smooth it in place). Concealer - use a lighter shade to highlight the brow bone and neaten the brow outline - using a small flat brush to blend to out.
My work
My first model was Charlotte; naturally she has a very thick, curly ginger brows.
1. I ask her how she do itself eyebrows; she prefers just a bit filling some gaps, very natural, keep them round shape. So I did as she said. After when I was doing, she said are ok, and good.
2. My recommendation because she is plumpy I prefer to make them more bold it, edges sharper and filling empty gaps- darker and the end, brighter from the beginning. I also like the clean line so can look neater.
3. The first design I choose Alberta Ferretti design, leave them naturals, just fills some gaps and brush them up.

My next model, Grace, has missing eyebrows at the end, changing and dark blond colour. I like her eyebrows, besides missing they are quite thick and very regular line.
1. So I ask her how she is wearing them, she like gives them properly shape and line and also fill the empty gaps. She likes the colour which I choose. One eyebrow always it's getting harder to make the-the same. I cleaned the line by using foundation and the small brush.
2. I like to give them properly shape with the sharp square at the end. One of them always a little bit different from another. Lines I cleaned with foundation and the small brush.
3. I chose Alberta Ferretti design, natural again and brushed up, but first, I draw a line for the rest of eyebrows- edges.

My third model Charlotte has correctly eyebrows shape, very thick, and dark.
1.I ask her how she make them; she likes defined them and clean with foundation or concealer. One eyebrow its different from another, She loves the shape and colour and clean line under eyebrows bone.
2. For my recommendation, I did the same with sharp square edges, filled gaps and clean the line. One its different from another like usually.
3. For all my eyebrows I choose Alberta Ferretti eyebrows shape, just a lit bit of filling gaps and brushed them up.
